Weekly Podcast Tip #7: How to Find Podcast Guests

Guest podcasting is becoming one of the number one ways to bring leads into an online business.

In fact, I've received more requests to guest on my interview podcast in the last several months than ever before, except many of them don't quite align with my podcast mission or content.

So how do you find guests that align with your podcast mission and content and provide value to your audience?

Finding guests can be hard at the beginning of a podcast; I won’t lie. It’s especially tricky if you don’t have an extensive network to draw from. But as the podcast grows and you begin to network and connect with people, you'll find that you receive requests from all kinds of people.

Even though it can be frustrating to turn someone down because they're not a fit, It’s a good problem to have — your podcast is getting noticed!

Finding guests for your podcast can be a daunting task, but if you start small it can snowball to having to hit pause on recording because you have too many in the queue!
