It's a weird time. Things are changing for nearly everyone whether you've had to begin working from home, shift your tour plans, build a home studio, make plans for a job hunt, or take your side hustle full time. But despite all this, where can you find opportunity?

We’ve all had to make incredible difficult decisions in this industry over the last few months. We’ve had to pivot our businesses and careers online, to relocate ourselves for family or jobs, or make decisions to leave a job at this point in time, and those choices can be gut wrenching in some instances. How do you even begin to make those decisions?

I’ve always been a book junkie, just like I’m a course hoarder, but now that I have no commute and can’t go anywhere but the grocery store, I’m digging into my books to learn, grow personally, and grow professionally.

How do you get from where you are to become a musicpreneur? I’ll be honest, it’s a lot of work, but it’s rewarding in the end.

First things first though, you have to shift your mindset. You’ll go from one of “this is a hobby” to “this is my business,” reframe your thoughts, consider why you want this, and so much more.

Starting today, I’m letting go. Writing from the heart, putting my business together, and releasing it to the world. I may not be an expert, but I have my own life experiences to share. It’s not going to be perfect the first go-round. It’ll be rough around the edges, may not be at the right price point, and may not be what someone’s looking for.
