Weekly Podcast Tip #1: How to Use Asana for Podcast Management

Welcome to our first podcast newsletter!

I'm excited you're here with me on this journey and ready to learn all about the ever-evolving world of podcasting!

We'll be putting out a weekly newsletter featuring podcast tips, tricks, resources, and how-to's, so stay tuned for more to come!

And now, on to this week's tip: using Asana!

As you put together your podcast launch or begin drafting episodes, you've probably noticed there are a lot of steps to podcasting, right?

There are countless steps in the launch phase, in episode management, and even guest management, and it's hard to keep track of every little detail.

You want your podcast to be professional but how can you keep track of every single piece?

Why not try a project management tool?

Asana is my go-to tool for podcast management. I created templates for guest episodes and solo episodes, for client podcast launches, and even a guest management workflow. I use them for each launch, episode, and interaction with guests.

Read all about how I use Asana for podcast management (screenshots included!) and how you can adapt these projects and tasks to your preferred task management program (Trello, ClickUp, Airtable, etc.).

If you don't want to build out your own templates, Templana is a great marketplace to pick up Asana templates. In fact, I developed a Podcast Management Tracker template just for them (I do receive a small commission for each template purchased, but I promise, it's worth it to be organized!).

Staying organized is key to producing a consistent and professional podcast, and what better way to do it than to utilize the incredible project management tools out there?

TL;DR: Asana or a project management tool is a great way to keep track of the details for your podcast launch and episode or guest management.

Until next week!
