Episode 19: Burbank Chamber Music Society

Episode 19.png

Meet Nicolina Logan and Renee Henn, professional musicians and co-founders of the Burbank Chamber Music Society. Friends since their freshman year of college at UCLA, Nicolina and Renee wanted to not only continue working and playing together, but to bring the intimate setting of chamber music to Burbank, California.

The Burbank Chamber Music Society is in its second year and kicks off its new season this Saturday, August 24. Listen in as we talk about their musical backgrounds, how the society came about, and the work it takes to start, organize, and promote a group like this. We also discuss being a woman in the music industry, how mindset is important as a performer and session musician, and that finding a great mentor is one of the best things you can do for yourself as a professional.

And if you live in LA and are free on Saturday, come join us at the concert! You can pick up your tickets online through their site at www.burbankchambermusicsociety.org.
